You survived. But do you actually want to go back to normal?
Maybe “normal” was exhausted. Maybe it was putting everyone else first. Maybe it was carrying too much, sleeping badly, rushing through your own life, and telling yourself you were fine because technically everything was functioning.
Cancer changes things.
How do I want to live now?
The part nobody really prepares you for
During treatment, there is a plan. Appointments. Tests. People checking on you. Everyone understands that something big is happening.
Then treatment ends.
The calls slow down. The help starts disappearing. Everyone is relieved. Life starts moving again.
And you are supposed to move with it.
Except you may not feel like the same woman anymore.
There is the fear before the next scan, test, or follow-up appointment. The weird sensation in your body that makes your mind go somewhere scary. The pressure to be grateful. The endless advice about what you should eat, how you should exercise, what you should take, how you should sleep, how you should manage stress.
And somewhere underneath all of that is another question:
What do I actually want my life to look like after this?
Maybe going back is not the goal
This is where I want you to stop for a second and really think about your old “normal.”
Were you a priority in your own life?
Were you sleeping well? Taking care of your body? Doing things that made you feel alive?
Or were you carrying everyone, managing everything, trying to keep the peace, making everyone else’s life easier, and fitting yourself into whatever space was left?
Maybe you do not need your old life back.
Maybe you get to build a better one.
What this can look like
A life where taking care of yourself feels normal.
Where food, sleep, movement, and stress are not another complicated project, but simple habits that actually support the woman you want to become.
Where you know what matters to you. You make decisions with more confidence. You stop second-guessing everything.
Where you still have responsibilities. You still show up for your family. You still handle the appointments, the work, the pets, the laundry, all the real-life stuff.
But your whole life is not disappearing inside of it.
There is room for strength. Beauty. Travel. Good food. Laughter. Curiosity. Ambition. Rest. Fun.
And there is room for something as simple as making a coffee in the middle of the day, sitting outside, looking at the sky, breathing, and not feeling like you need permission to be there.
Not because everything is finished.
Because this is your life too.
And maybe, little by little, the thought in the back of your mind becomes:
Thank you. I love my life.
You do not need another list of things you should be doing
You need help figuring out what matters for you now.
That means looking at the life you actually want, what is getting in the way of it, and the few things that need to change first.
We look at your priorities, your routines, your health habits, your energy, your stress, the way you are using your time, and the parts of your old life that simply do not fit anymore.
Then we make it simpler.
Not a perfect plan. Not a complete life overhaul in one week.
A clear direction and practical next steps that help you start building the woman and the life you want now.
Why me
I am not here because I studied cancer from the outside.
I am here because I lived through it.
I know what it feels like when treatment ends and everyone else starts moving on. I know the fear before scans and follow-ups. I know what it is like to look at your life afterward and realize that surviving is not the same as knowing how you want to live.
I had to rebuild that for myself.
My health. My habits. My energy. My identity. My standards. My vision for the woman I wanted to become after cancer.
And I also know how much harder that process is when you are doing it alone.
Today, as a Certified Health + Life Coach and Strategic Life Mentor, I help women create clarity around what they want now, simplify what needs to change, and start building a life that feels healthy, intentional, and genuinely theirs.
You deserve support for the life you are building, not only for the cancer you survived.
