Unfiltered Sundays – Conversations with My Sister
There’s something sacred about Sunday mornings.
Before the scroll.
Before the to-do list.
Before the world starts asking for pieces of you.
This is where Unfiltered Sundays was born.
In the pause.
In the quiet.
And honestly? In the voice notes I exchange almost daily with my sister.
We talk about everything — from identity shifts and body image to spiritual signs and why people think we’re “too much.” We laugh. We call each other out. We reflect. We cry. And we always come back to this:
“If someone was listening to us right now, they’d probably think we’re crazy… or arrogant… or obsessed with self-growth.”
But the truth is:
We’re just real.
We’re learning.
We’re healing.
We’re evolving out loud.
We’ve shed the layer of pretending — the one that made us tone things down to make others comfortable. We’re not trying to be better than anyone else, we’re simply committed to becoming better versions of ourselves.
And we realized… these conversations?
They matter.
They’re the ones women everywhere are craving — they just haven’t always found a space safe enough to say the hard stuff out loud.
So I created one.
Unfiltered Sundays is a weekly blog inspired by those unfiltered, soul-to-soul sister chats.
It’s a space for the thoughts that don’t fit into a caption or a perfect reel.
For the questions that keep you up at night.
For the realizations that crack you open.
For the laughter that makes you feel whole again.
This isn’t a “how to” blog.
It’s a “me too” blog.
Some weeks, it might hit deep.
Other times, it might just make you laugh like you’re on the couch with your best friend.
Either way — it’ll be real.
So whether you have a sister, or just wish you had someone to have these kinds of talks with — welcome.
Pour a coffee. Breathe. Be.
This is Unfiltered Sundays.
And I’m so glad you’re here.
